Our Chickens

Grayrooster Farms is a small non-commercial farm located in the beautiful Northwest. We're committed to raising beautiful rare chickens on a small scale. Our specialty breeds Blue Ameraucana, Self Blue Ameraucana(incorrectly called lavender Ameraucana by some), Golden Totleger, Blue, and Lavender Whyondottes. Our birds are free-range and are fed 100% organic feed along with fresh fruit and vegetables. We also design and build beautiful portable coops and other animal shelters.

Bio-security

Chickens have a sensitive immune system, and we don't want to risk our flock to potential inadvertent disease transmission. We take biosecurity very seriously. We want to keep our farm free from outside bacteria to our chickens. No handling of birds unless you are purchasing them to take home.

NPIP Certificate

We are working towards our NPIP certificate(National Poultry Improvement Plan) certificate. We had no signs or symptoms of respiratory illness or disease in our flock. Being NPIP certified means, our birds are tested twice yearly to make sure our birds are free from diseases that could potentially spread or infect our chickens.
